Rugged and Versatile Steam Turbines and Expanders

Elliott steam turbines are noted for their rugged reliability, versatility in demanding applications, and smoothness of operation, which makes them an ideal choice to drive equipment required for many industrial processes and electric power generation.

Single-valve, single-stage, general-purpose YR turbines have a reputation for highest quality and reliability. Available in ratings up to 3500 hp (2611 kW), the YR turbine is used to drive equipment such as pumps, fans, compressors, shredders, generators and other machinery for continuous or standby service.

Multi-Stage YrThe PYR single-stage steam turbine is now available for low power duties in a variety of plants. Rated up to 200 hp (150 kW) at speeds to 5000 rpm, for input steam pressures to 600 psig and temperatures to 752 degrees Fahrenheit. The Class IV BYR turbine is rated for speeds up to 16,000 rpm and is ideal for applications involving high speed compressors, pumps and other rotating equipment.

Multi-StageFor the largest turbine applications, the multistage-multivalve turbines are offered with horsepower ratings to 100,000 hp (74,560 kW), speeds to 16,000 rpm, and options for extraction and/or induction flow.

An Elliott steam turbine-generator set for the generation of electricity is money in the bank.

TG SetElliott manufactures synchronous and induction turbine generator packages from 50 kw to 30 MW. Complete packages include turbine, gear, generator, baseplate, controls and lube consoles. An ever growing number of process plants and institutions use reliable, efficient Elliott turbine-generators to convert thermal energy from their steam system directly into electricity. A portion of the energy from steam produced for processes or heating can often provide electrical energy at lower cost than the utility supplier.

An Elliott turbine-generator package configured to your requirements can provide payback on your cogeneration investment in three years or less.
