Tuthill M-D Pneumatics Blowers
Originally founded in 1937 for the manufacture of engine superchargers, M-D Pneumatics supplied superchargers for various military and industrial applications, as well as high performance cars well into the 1950s. In the late 1950s, M-D Pneumatics began an ambitious task of developing its own line of proprietary, rotary positive displacement blowers. This new product line involved similar technical and manufacturing challenges but offered a much wider market.
Today, M-D Pneumatics™ blowers and blower packages are used worldwide for pneumatic conveying in the chemical and food processing industries, for aeration of wastewater and for unloading dry bulk materials from tank trucks. M-D Pneumatics gastight blowers are utilized in handling many kinds of process and fuel gases. Additionally, M-D Pneumatics vacuum boosters are incorporated into various high-tech manufacturing processes such as semiconductor, chemical and petrochemical, plastics, food processing and vacuum furnace applications. The customer roster includes many OEMs who install M-D Pneumatics blowers and vacuum boosters in all sorts of applications from process plant systems to mobile carpet cleaning systems.

Competitor® Blowers are designed to be compatible with existing OEM dimensions, and also provide features previously available only on premium-priced blowers, such as full splash lubrication, and low-noise options.
Equalizer® Blowers
Equalizer® Blowers also include special features usually found only on premium blowers, but at competitive prices. They are high flow, compact blowers in popular 4.5" and 6" gear diameters.

Qube™ Low-noise blower packages utilize our next generation Qx blowers for open field noise levels of 75 dB(A) @ 1m, and high efficiency for reduced operating cost. Integral instrumentation and valves are included.
