ANSI Design Chemical Process Pumps
Dean Pump is recognized as an industry leader in the design and manufacture of horizontal centrifugal process pumps used extensively in the chemical and petrochemical industries, power plants, pulp and paper, mining, pharmaceutical and food processing industries.
When Dean Pump introduced the pH centrifugal process pump in 1958, the chemical processing industry recognized it as the model for the proposed ASA Standard Chemical Pump. Shortly thereafter, the Manufacturing Chemist Association (MCA) adopted, with minor changes, the service proven Dean pH pump as the American Voluntary Standard (AVS). Subsequently, the American National Standards Institute approved the AVS Specifications as national standard B123.1-1971. This standard was later revised and approved as ANSI/ASME B73.1M-1984. Dean Series pH pumps continue to meet or exceed the latest revised B73.1 standard. Dean Series pH centrifugal process pumps are designed to insure long, continuous service life at low cost. Each phase in the production of these pumps is meticulously monitored by an independent quality control department.
Vertical Inline Pumps
DeanLine Series Industrial Inline Pumps are excellent for process plant pump applications for capacities and heads less than ANSI AA and AB sizes. Standard features include an open impeller with integral seal and an electric driven motor. An optional air driven motor is also available. Two pump sizes are available in cast iron and 316SS construction.
High Temp / Heat Transfer Pumps

High Temp / Heavy Duty Process
The R5000 Series Pumps are chemical, petrochemical, and refinery style process pumps built to API 610, Fifth Edition, specifications. Features include heavy duty centerline support, plus a large taper bore seal cavity or jacketed cylindrical stuffing box. Twenty-seven sizes are available in steel and 316SS construction.
